In March 2019 upon the death of my Aunt, this became my reality and the foundation for what is Bears and Collectibles.
My Aunt and Uncle were never able to have children so became were able to devote their time and resources into their passions including The Ohio State University, traveling the world, the legal profession (my Uncle was an attorney), supporting their local community and church by serving on numerous committees and boards and by collecting a wide range of items that gave them pleasure.
When my Aunt passed away, all of the personal property in her estate was willed to my brother, sister and myself. As we gathered for her funeral, we made the first assessment of what we had inherited and quickly realized that we had a major challenge on our hands and asked the question, "now what"?
